  • 1978 Chevy Corvette

This was my late brother-in-law's 'Vette. I don't have a ton of details about it, but I'll give you what I know. It is a little on the rough side, but has 69k original miles on it. It has the typical 350ci/th350 auto combo. It runs and drives okay. Paint is crappy, but body is solid with no cracks, gouges or holes, the frame is very solid as it was stored inside for several years. Major concern would be that it needs brakes including new lines. This car would make a great restoration project or awesome hot rod. Most everything works on it with the exception of the heater blower. The power windows and antenna work fine, and the headlights pop up as with out trouble. I really haven't had the time to look very far into it, but it needs to go. I would keep it, but have way too much on my plate as is. Spread the word if you think you might know of anyone looking for a project 'Vette that would take very little to make right.
    No calls after 9pm please.

    Asking $2850

I will let a few people know about this.

If I had my car done this would make a good small project.

Damn, if you had put this up before I bought my 98 a week ago, I'd have bought it. I'll forward it on to a couple of people as well.

I almost bought a '77 Vette when I was searching for my first car, but never did.

Tempting, but I don't have the funds. Good luck!

Wow if my dad sees this he'd really be jealous. He always wanted a 'vette. I almost got a '77 as my first car too.

Yeah, pretty sweet, local guy snatched it up. He was pretty geeked. Now I am too, now I can pay the T/A off and buy the extra nozzles I need for my meth/water injection upgrade on the Camaro. Phone is still ringing off the hook.
