Don't really want to sell it.I will probably end up not selling because the market is crap. Just trying to ease some of the financial burden of everything.
I love my car. Maybe things will work out and I will still be able to keep her.

I have absolutely no interest in the car but what is this IROC flashlight you speak of? GM gave flashlights with the cars? Sorry for the mild hijack, I'm just super curious now.

It's not a "IROC" flashlight per se..it's just a little flashlight that GM put in the overhead consoles, its a snap in molded to fit deal....pretty neat.

Got ya! I was thinking they gave like a maglight with "IROC" etched in the side.

Like James said, the Camaro flashlight was part of the overhead console option. Here's a pic of the console. The flashlight is hard to see in this pic, but it snaps into a cavity that's just left of the dome light. Just to the right of that leather pouch thingy.

I've also included a link to an ebay auction for the flashlight istelf that will give you a better idea on what we're talking about.

I have the roof console option in my '85 IROC-Z too. It is pretty neat!

I wouldn't really call it a mini-hijack. Out of just over 192,000 Camaros built in 1986, only 28,917 had the Roof Console option, making it a fairly rare item. For those that didn't know what it was, now they do. Maybe it will help Ken to sell his car?

Good luck with the sale, Ken.

My car was fairly rare? Damn! I had the little flashlight too, just could never get it to work.
