The salad shooters aren't helping. Don't get me wrong, nice car but shooters on it just don't look right.

alright, thanks for the reply. I'll have to get on that. I've never had to get anything painted before, now to find somewhere decent....

ha I know this. I've wanted different wheels since I bought the car, but I haven't found a good deal and have problems justifying like 400 dollars for stock wheels.

Call Scott at The Body Curve on Orchard Lake and 8 Mile. (248) 442-1122. At least get a quote from him. He does great work.

Get a couple quotes from a few shops, The lowest quote is usually never the place to go. I work at a collision shop and we have seen a LOT of shotty work come in from other stores. From what the "scrape" looks like on that bumper it looks less like a scrape and more like peeling paint caused by lack of prep work on something that has been refinished or worked on before. The bumper more than likely flexed and the paint should not come off that easy. a couple hundred bucks would get you a refinish on a unpainted or undamaged bumper, when you get into stripping paint off the price goes up considerably. This is just a heads up tho, a lot of places will low ball to get you in but the work will reflect on the price you pay.

Even if you just for a paint pen that is the exact color and touched it up your self, that would at least get people to come and look at it. Spruce up your ad some how. Fresh oil changed alaways at 3k miles or something else.

its too bad its not a T56, it would have been sold IMO.

I always chuckle when people say that... like "well I was on the fence, but now I feel much better" lol

If you want to sell it, get some engine shine, follow the directions. And paint the front bumper cover

Me too but some people see that as the holy grail of buying a car.

If you're using full synthetic like Mobil 1, I wouldn't change it under 5k miles... just throwing money away... back on topic

I'm glad to hear you had Scott give you a quote. He does great work. If you have him do your paint, ask him about his journey in finding his Camaro. Good story, 8,000 miles and 2 weeks of vacation to find it.
