    Posting is back up. . . Maybe this guy just really needs the money? I find it hard to believe he's knocking $10,000 in potential profit right off the top of the price. . . There has to be something wrong with it.

            tstone do u have carfax? where do u run the vins? im lookin for a winter beater but not really a beater lol a winter car right now if i run across i nice car would u mind running the vin for me?

                    my car was ALMOST listed as a clear title here in michigan, all it had on the GA title was a asterik with Rebuilt next to it. He was just about to print out the documents and hes like oh wow, i almost missed that its rebuilt. I guess MI titles are a different color to prevent that.

                        fyi - just cause the state screws up and issues an unbranded title doesnt mean it's clean

                        anymore it's virtually impossible to "wash" or clear a title like in the old days

                          Unless it's an older car that comes from one of those states that only requires a bill of sale.

                            yep, thats how I got it so cheap. Everything was replaced with new GM parts and ill never sell it so I dont care.

                              Correct - I should have been more clear, I was speaking vehicles of this era such as the one in question or Dereks.

                                as far as I know state/city/gov repos/impounds get new titles made w/o history reports
