c5 vettes are not going for that much anymore a z06 yea but coups ect are not ive seen in the price range of 14-18 k and the mileage ranged from 30-70k miles

ie city impounds, if they dont have the title (...most of the time they are taken from unwilling citizens) so the gov makes a new title, sure the VIN isnt changed so you can dig up info but the actual title paper is "clean"

in that case it wouldn't it be technically a lost title situation and would qualify for a replacement title which is not considered a branded title
