Ads changed, now let's hope that helps!!! I drove it today, it ran and drove fine. Still makes some noises due to a missing torsion bar bushing, and it idles rough every once in a while, but it still runs and drives strong.

Do they come with the truck when you sell it?
I always find it silly when people with trucks put the mpg listed on it. It's a truck. People know it's not built for mpg, but for hauling things.

You don't see people trying to sell Honda Civic's with a sign that says "can tow up to 1,600lbs!".

Yeah, unfortunately Nick you're trying to sell a truck during one of the worst possible times in history to sell a truck.

I know it's a bad time to sell, but it's better than waiting for gas prices to go up even higher. If somebody has a legitimate need for a truck or 4WD, the gas mileage is going to be negligible. This is a great deal, the truck is worth nearly twice my asking price. I can't go any lower, I'm already selling for less than what I've got into it.

I'm trying to get some work done to my Firebird. I'd like to put a little extra cash in my pocket as well, but if I have to, I'll trade it straight up for a T56 swap and some other LT1 parts. I'd rather not go that route, since I can shop around and get better deals otherwise, but if the offer was on the table for those parts right now, I'd take it in a heartbeat.

This truck is GREAT in the snow. This should have already sold, considering the weather we see in MI. Maybe I can sell it for more if I wait a couple months to sell, when people are stuck in the snow all over . . . lol

Yeah, but people tend to underestimate the efficiency of vehicles, so a lot of people look at my truck and think I get like 10mpg. I list the mileage, they say, "well, that ain't so bad, maybe I could drive something like this."

They do, and it's really actually kinda sad. Just because it's a truck doesn't automatically mean shit mileage.

I added it all to the ad, and I lowered my price on here to $1,700. Hopefully that will help it sell soon, I really don't feel like driving all the way to Texas to swap for parts and drive all the way back. . .

Alright. I'll change it. Do you think the high miles might be scaring people off as well?

Changed. That's what's really sad, I can't sell this truck, and it actually gets better gas mileage than my Formula!

Sounds like me comparing things with what my Camaro got.

I think my dad's E-150 got better mileage most of the time (though, the seafoam helped a bit, and I got my best ever 13.5 mpg - the day that drunk hit it).

looks like a nice truck, however, listing the actual gas milage is a horrible idea, cause you run, we will say 93 octane in it, and the person gets it and runs 87 or something to that fact, or they have there foot in it all the time and end up getting like 2 to the gallon.. they are gonna be pissed when its not the same as you said.. best to put something like, good milage or something to that effect..

Already edited my Craigslist advertisements to that effect, both in title and vehicle description. Thanks for the suggestion!

Put it on Detroit Craigslist. I've had several of my cars on Saginaws site and didn't get shit for replys. Sold all of the cars I posted on Detroit Craigslist. Hell, I put my Dad's 65 Plymouth on there and some guy from Canada came and bought it two days ago.
