  • Pioneer Double-DIN Touchscreen DVD player

Hey guys, I'm selling some toys to try to cover what I owe in for taxes this year. Here's the Pioneer Double-DIN DVD player I had in my Firebird, bid is pretty low right now (lower than I'd like to see it go for), if any of you guys want in on the action, go ahead.

http://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-ele...pics-info.html looks like it will, you'll just need a new bezel and some slight modification to the dash.

Bought it new in September '09. And it will fit anywhere you want it to fit, you just might have to MAKE it fit. I made it fit the dash in my Formula, it took some doing (relocated the HVAC controls), but it was pretty cool.

Next time, I'll just get a standard stereo, I don't need anything fancy, with the exhaust I'm going to be putting in that car, I don't think I'll even listen to the radio that much. haha

I've already spoken with Larry (our muffler/exhaust guy) about it, he said he was willing to handle the project, although it would require a bit of work to make it happen. All I know is it's going to be unique, and I know it's going to sound great.

Do you have a pic of the way you mounted it and relocated the controls

I may have a pic of it mounted, but none of the controls relocated. I'll check on my photobucket.

ETA: No pics of it mounted in the car, I know I have a couple somewhere. . . I'll do some more digging.

Just dug through my photo collection on my computer also, can't find any pics there either.

This was mounted in my '93 Firebird. If you have a Camaro dash, it's a completely different beast. I did have it mounted in my '94 Z28 for a few weeks, but I couldn't figure out how I wanted to modify the bezel to make it look good, and eventually sold the car.

I figured they were the same. I guess I gotta see if I wanna modify mine or buy one but for a bezel for 150+ idk if it's worth it but damn do I want this.

Guess I'll have to bid and see if I get it.

It's TOTALLY worth it, I loved having this thing in my Firebird. It looked better than any single-DIN stereo, played ALL file formats (well, just about), had awesome iPod compatibility (just plug the USB into the front panel, and you can control from the stereo OR from the iPod), plenty of add-ons are available (HD Radio, Bluetooth, CD Changers, back-up cameras, etc).

Not to mention, I paid more than 4x what the current bid is for this thing, this is a smokin' deal!
