  • FS: Street Legal NASCAR COT

    Very cool...and one of the more interesting pics is the shot of the driveshaft loop and driveshaft...anybody else ever seen a rotor and caliper used to slow down the driveshaft?

    That has to just be for show...it can't add much (if any) functionality...the reactive forces traveling through the drivetrain would be destructive...

    That is awesome!! Yea I have seen the brake on the driveshaft loop before. They have had those on the NASCAR cars for a while now. Not too sure about how well they work but it is def. interesting!

              They do that on hardcore offroad trucks and rock buggies all the time. Has to do with the weight of the tires and such. You can get a lot more breaking power with a lot smaller brake setup if you do it before the rearend.

                Thats part of there rear brakes, monster tucks use them too, next time you see them on tv watch for it, there usually glowing red hot, see sparks flying from them sometimes.

                That would be so cool to have. Very bad ass when you run down the features list.

                Side note: Wonder how often youd get pulled over though?
