Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

I'm not going to spend that kind of money on a car and not drive it. Don't get me wrong its a rare and nice car and would be cool to have. But I'd have to have like 10 other cars to not drive it and even then I'd get it out occasionally.

Where did you find that? MuscleCarClub.com said "3.8/250bhp: 1/4 mile in 14.2 seconds @ 97.8 mph"
Yeah those #'s previously posted don't add up for me either. I know the engine was underrated, but it would need well over 300 HP to hit low 13's like that.
An LT1 with 275 HP hits low 14's - though they weigh a little more I believe.

455 Super Duty's are worth a pretty hefty chunk of change. Also that TA is a S/E.
most 3rd gens the S/E version can get way more options than a Trans am can, kinda wierd but thats the way they did it.. a fully loaded S/E for my year had more than a fully loaded trans am package.
im not saying its my dream car, but passing one up would be a dumb idea being they are so rare, and as you can see go for a good price even when its not considered a classic yet.

I respectfully disagree. An LT1 Trans Am weighs in just over 3500 lbs. a V8 3rd Gen TA weighs in at just over 3300 lbs. The 3.8 with a turbo and related piping isn't going to be that much less then the V8. Lets be generious and say it weighed 3200 lbs. Thats only 300 lbs difference.
At 10 HP / 100 lbs (general standard) that still dosen't add up. I'd research it more to argue my point but I don't have the time while working.
Regardless the car was/is bad ass. No disagreement there.
no your right i just looked it up... 3350 average... pretty much with a full tank in a stock car... still it would be a really close race...and mod money wise you would get more bang for your buck... why did they have to all be white though...
