    Yeah, it's just me...maybe it's how the stripes sets it off that makes it appear different...

      I to think the stripe that makes it look larger even though they are the same size. Just Compare the pics of Dougs 96 and the 97's with the stripes.

              CDs are about as dated as cassettes to me now. Not to mention, the LT4 is the only thing you should be listening to.

                My '96 SS has a CD player. It's the Delco Bose Gold system (factory) and sounds WAY better than the Monsoon system in the 2002. I've never been impressed with the Monsoon.

                        Most, not all, of these LT4 cars had all the possible options, so I am sure he has the remote 12disc CD changer (RPO U1S) in the trunk. I too have the in dash cassette player and thought, what the heck, until I looked at the sticker and popped the trunk! Bingo 12disc.
