Actually it's one of 1,057 coupe SS' made from the numbers I found but I can't find how many were hard tops and had the 30th anniversary package. I thought it would be easy to Google the production numbers for them but I dind't have much luck. I'll have to do some more digging when I get a chance.

I think he meant 30th anniversary edition SS hardtops. Yours is just a 97 SS.

Personally, I'd have a hard time getting in to sit on a seat that's THAT dirty.

Actually, I think it's yet to be seen how "collectable" and valuable a car this is...it's just too new to determine.

But if we want to try to base things on current trends, 15 years from now, this car might be discussed in the terms of "yeah, I saw this 97 SS CE hardtop once..."

About the closest cross reference today is the 10th Anny T/As.

One of the first "collectors" models that people started to tuck away with no miles on them.

And they're on fire right now from a value standpoint.

Will this car be the same way? Unknown.

But there were definately less of these made than the 10th Anny T/As...

The REAL collector 30th anniversary cars will be the 100 LT4 SS' that SLP did. I'd LOVE to have one of those. You can still pick them up for a fairly decent price.

Believe it or not, i looked up the numbers on this one and it is MORE RARE than an LT4 car. This car is 1 of 75 Hardtop Automatic "Z4C" SS's
And i called the guy, sale is pending on the car.

doesnt surprise me that its that rare, i recall hardtop cars being very low production even for LT1s.

I wish LT4s werent so expensive to build, because I always wondered what kind of potential that engine had in an fbody. Ive ridden in an LT4 vette and it seemed to run real nice with just a set of LTs.

                            Wow...good info.

But the LT4s will still command a premium.

                            Still worth saving...

                              Z4C just means it's a 30th anniversary package.

I Agree, Undoubtedly the LT4 will always be worth more.
I just wanted it to be known that this car was rarer than LT4 cars

The car will be restored and saved regardless
