Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Oh come the F&$% on! I bought my rims from him. He was the first to give me a good review and propegated my credibility on this site. He was fun as Hell at the bowling meet a couple years back. We were supposed to hook up and bowl again. He was one righteous person with a great heart and a willingness to accept even the strays (myself) that came into his life. I just don't know what else to say, I'm gonna head out for a smoke and get this into perspective. B! Let me know arrangements, where to donate for the flowers (or whatever). I have to give this guy the props he deserves....sorry, I gotta step out.
If I have the story right, back a few years ago he had gone out with another member that had gotten into a tussle at an evening establishment. The whole story was on here and funny as hell, but the clincher was the guy had said something like he was waiting on the bouncer's mother cause he was in the mood for 36 longs. Wasn't Tom that said it, but he wrote one hell of a funny story about it. I couldn't rewrite it as funny as it was. It should still be here somewhere. By the way, the rims are still polished up and looking great. Second set of tires just installed.
Go rest high on that mountain bro! I'll never forget you, but I'm too teared up to write on the phone anymore.
EDIT*
Ok folks, here it is. This story just about made me piss myself way back in '09. Like I said, I couldn't write it the way he did, so I'm going to let him tell you in his own words. I actually laughed again, then teared up all over again. I sure am gonna miss you, bro!
"As much as I hate strip clubs I had a really good time. You almost getting your ass kicked was pretty funny though. Since you guys weren't there, I'll give you cliffnotes. The bouncer was eyeballing Mike all night and anytime he'd look over Mike would say something to the effect of, "Why you keep looking at me? Want to see my balls? Keep you eyes on the stage pretty boy" Well, after awhile the bouncer finally came up and got in Mike's face. Mike was hammered and has the balls to say, "Hey *******, when is your mom coming on stage? I've been hankering for some 36 longs" At that point it was pretty much on and Mark (mikes brother) and myself had to convince the bouncer that Mike had too much to drink and he didn't mean anything. Luckily we didn't get kicked out."

I am still in shock. I was out of town for work when I came across this news on FB. And Brian was nice enough to let me know through IM at work. RIP Tom. You were always fun to hang out and visit with. Mostly saw him for the carshows, etc. My sincere condolences to Brenna and Tom's family.
It went well. We helped put together pictures for the viewing and the four of us had a good number of laughs reading through old threads on the site on our cell phones.
I'm so sorry I couldn't make it. I did dedicate a karaoke song to him though. Never did country, but dedicated "there goes my life" by Kenny Chesney at the Redford moose. To the family: When I first met Tom, I bought his chrome rims. I met him at Great Lakes Crossing. When we met, I still had hair to my waist and a long goat tee and sunglasses, as well as leathers as far as I could. He could've passed by withouth me even knowing, but he stopped, we talked, I bought the rims and he left a very good review of the transaction. Your son saw past the cover of the book and looked inside. He was and always will be considered a real man and a real friend to me. I'm always going to miss him. He was certainly a ray of sunshine in a life that was just out of control at the time. I'm always going to miss him. I'm going to try and make the ride to Grand Blanc to visit and pay my respects to the family of a man that was so well regarded. You raised someone that really made a difference to me and I know it may not sound like much, but it is a great thing. I'm so sorry Brenna. He was what I wish I was when I was his age.
I'm sorry, I found myself drinking and crying a little too much to have made the drive this evening. I think I'm gonna bury my head some more this evening.
