Thank you so much everyone. Everywhere I turn I get nothing buy compassion and support. We had decided to let him go since even if he recovered, he'd have to live in a nursing home the rest of his life and likely wouldn't have full brain functionality. We all knew that he wouldn't want to be that sort of burden to the rest of us, and we respected his wishes. He held on for a good hour or two after they pulled his ventilator and the feeding tube, and looked so peaceful as if he was just asleep. I had walked away to go sit at the conference room for a bit since his vitals were still holding and made it back just in time to see his last breaths as he flat lined and passed on. Frankly we think it was him making us wait as his last joke to us. Ass hole, haha. I'm sure he's somewhere drinking vodka and rocking out, having one hell of a party.
Mifbody has always been like a second home, and I know some of you were able to meet my dad on occasion. You guys have been like family to me, and it certainly shows here.
