Ken was the guy that told me to join this site. About a couple of years ago, before I joined this site, I sold Ken a set of 243 heads for his 88(?) Camaro project for a really low price, in exchange for some electrical work done to a '92 Corvette I had at the time. After I sold him the heads to him, I never heard from him again as far as the agreed upon work and I'm pretty sure he sold the heads for a major profit.

Watching this all unfold is heartbreaking, also makes me feel sick to my stomach. Ken was great to talk to and get info from...but I guess it is what it is.

Greg and Jake, I owe an apology. If you want, I'll come get the motor and do a full teardown and blueprint if it helps.

I'll be turning some wrenches with him tonight, let me see what he thinks, in the end its his engine. Game plan is to pull out the engine and trans. I know he works hard and long days, Ford just recalled all his vacation that was for next week. Any help we can get would be awesome. Thank you Michael for the apology, I do know we had good transactions at any time, buying parts and whatnot. I have Jake set up the details with you.

I can make myself and my garage available as well. That goes for anyone- not just the guys that got screwed by Ken Warner.

                Thanks bud.

Travis has worked pretty much all week on my car and we started it last night.

Other then needing a tune badly she sounds pretty good

Well found from travis that my brand new 3.73 motive ring and pinion are junk now. Chips in the teeth on the pinion and the ring gear. So I'm on the search for a set of 3.73 or 4.10 gears for a 7.5 inch 10 bolt

                    • Ya every time I start looking over another area of Matts car I find stuff broken or wrong. I feel so bad and don't even wanta call him to tell him just more bad news. But after I replace these broken gears it will be road worthy for sure. It's gonna run very good good now that it's in my possession.

Why not a Nitto or Toyo Drag Radial? 9.5 should cover the 275/45/17 or whatever size. You'll give up some wet weather traction - but it'll hook better than it would with a 305 and DRs handle well too.
