Hmm I seem to remember suggesting something like this about a year ago and Brian shot the idea down! There's a ton of one post wonders on here that drop a for sale thread then never come back. The worst part is they don't even reply to questions about their for sale ad!

I like it!
I know of a few other forums that won't let you post in the for sale section till you have 50 post in other areas so I think B is being fair when he is only looking for 30.
You need to have cedit or you are just a scammer

Gar, I didn't re-read what I wrote when I posted that unfortunately. Was in too much of a hurry to go to bed.
While I did not specify the information correctly, Adam was dead on.

Just wanted to announce a new feature that we've added to the site. Moving forward, you must have a post count of 30 to be able to create a new thread **IN THE CLASSIFIEDS / FOR SALE SECTIONS**. Likewise, you must have a post count of 15 to be able to reply to a currently existing thread **IN THE CLASSIFIEDS / FOR SALE SECTIONS**. When a member with less than 15 or 30 post count tries to reply to a thread or create a new thread respectively, they will get an error message like the first attached image.
Secondly, to post or create new threads in any forum, you must have at least 1 post count. Thus, the first post MUST be in the Member Introductions forum.
At the top of the page for all members with a zero post count, they'll see the message attached in the 2nd image.
While it may seem a little restrictive, we're truly just trying to encourage more interaction from people on the site who do not post a lot.
Thanks!
*** UPDATE!!!!! I'm a dope and didn't re-read what I wrote. Please re-read the first paragraph with the bigger text being the emphasis.- Brian Meissen
