New Forum: The Post Whore Lounge

Alright guys,

The staff and I have made a decision that the Word Association thread, as well as some of these other threads (Number Thread, "I achieved ##### posts" threads, etc) were really just boosting people's post counts unnaturally.

I know some of you are thinking "Who cares?" Well, post counts are usually a sign of a respect on the site. The higher a post count a member has usually corresponds to how long the user has been on the site as well as how much they post ( hopefully some of which is useful ).

So, you guys will probably notice that some of your post counts have gone down. Sorry guys, but threads that are moved to the Whore Lounge do not contribute to your post count. Thus, all threads deemed "Whore Lounge worthy" will have posts counts lost for all posts in that thread.

Also, side note, I'll let the mods know that only "Whore Lounge Worthy" threads posted starting today and in the future will be moved -- except for the Number Thread and Word Association threads. I'm not expecting, and do not mean, for the mods to go back and move all the older threads that are "Whore Lounge Worthy"

Not trying to boost my post but it was a fun thread (the # thread) and it was cool to see what we came up with.

Eh? You can still post in the threads... they just won't contribute to your post count. The idea is definitely not to make you not want to post in those threads, the idea is just to not unnaturally boost people's post counts by whoring one or two threads.

that is the general rule, but mods have final judgement over what is and what is not a whore thread
