Well the computer is back up and running! All my files are all on the comp, but I have to reinstall programs and stuff like that because even though the files are still there, the system files were reset to original so Windows thinks there's no programs installed.

yeah, especially considering I downloaded Microsoft Office 2003 so I could hurry up and write a quick two paragraph paper for the class that I skipped today, and after bitlord got done downloading it, it turned out to be an ISO file. So I download UltraISO which is what I used to have, and it's a RAR file. So now I'm downloading winRAR. lol.

The computer was up and running fine. I had to restart the PC so I could finish a few installs, and BAM! MOTHER EFFIN BLUE SCREEN ERROR!

werd so one of the main reasons it wouldn't recognize the harddrive correctly is because in the BIOS I had the SATA drive setup to be recognized as a RAID. It worked when Windows did the install because it didn't boot up the normal way, but when I restarted and it booted up normally, that's when the error occurred because it was thinking it was a SATA harddrive. When the comp crashed, I set the BIOS to say the SATA drive was treated as an IDE, set my spare harddrive to master, and powered it up and started copying files over before class. While I was at class, my dad came down deciding to tinker with it a bit, disconnected the spare master harddrive and then rebooted and it booted right up (the bios still said to read the SATA as IDE) and now it's working again. Well, atleast it's working, but still frustrating that the problem was the options that i set myself. I'm not convinced that that was the ONLY problem, as I could've sworn I tried that before when we were editing the bios settings, but alas now it works.
