  • MiFBody Shirts - Price point to be able to buy them outside of a group purchase

    Hey guys -

So I've learned about a service that is offered which will allow us to sell MiFBody shirts on an "as needed" basis -- meaning if Joe Smith decides he wants a shirt, he can just buy it and it will be drop shipped straight to him. No group purchase, just a 5 day production period for the shirt to be made before it's shipped out. Because it's a "one off" instead of a group, bulk purchase it would raise the prices. Judging by the amount, it looks like it'd raise TShirts to be $25/per shirt ($20 for white shirts, though) and pull over hoodies to $45. But you could also get long sleeve shirts, zip up hoodies, etc if we went this route. One major draw back to consider is that sizing only goes from Small to 2XL - which means that a portion of members on the site here would be unable to buy their shirts through this method.

Keep in mind that the prices above includes shipping, so unless you live close enough to me to pick up the shirts in person, our $15 per shirt when you include shipping is really more like $21.

    What do you guys think?

    That's a lot of $$$ for a T-shirt.

I'd probably just wait for the next group purchase...

I dont think its a bad option at all! If ya snooze ya lose. But if you want a shirt badly, I think you'd be willing to pay for it? $25 for a tshirt isn't a steal, no, buts not getting bent over either. It is what is is. Cheap once or twice a year, less reasonable but still available the rest of the year. Nice work Brian.

I like the availability of other options. I'd love to have a zip up hoodie for example. I say set it up, Brian.

who???? me ? I just brain storm the good ideas, I dont have any special title here. I have offered up moving parts from east to west or the other way around for guys here. I dont mind stepping up and putting a spreadsheet together or sending out pms saying your order needs payment.

However there isnt anything wrong with keeping it the way we do, I missed the last order cause I was in Florida dealing with the lost of Grandfather...yea 25 bucks isnt a bad price shipped to your door at all. What I was saying was why not have two set orderings as a "group"
winter and summer time. I also like the idea of having a zip up hood, even fleece would be sweet as hell. I have a family friend that embroiders for a lot of local companys and high schools for there jackets. How many would like to get a fleece embroidered zip up ? Its just a matter who we know and pricing.

Hey B you need a hand, let me know

Yeah - that's the absolute beauty of it and why I'd like to go for it. Once we set up the paypal checkout buttons to buy the shirts, everything is taken care of by the company and the shirts are drop shipped straight to you.

then to take the load off of the members here it isnt a bad business decision to have them handle everything...guessing have a support american speaking customer service line to call ? hahaha, are they also here in Michigan B ?

Maybe they can work a small discount if your order $100.00 or more dropping prices a bucks on the shirts or get one free white shirt. Just brain storming i guess

I think Nate was saying it was a good idea because it takes the work OFF of Brian. Think you misunderstood what he meant.

Option #2 is cool with me. I've never HAD TO HAVE a mifbody t-shirt, so I just wait for the group purchases. But I think 1 a year is fine, I'm sure it's a lot of work for you Brian.
