If you're not a big "bass head" and just want some thump to your rock, then I'd get rid of the dual 12's and go with a single 10 in a stealthbox on the drivers side. I like thump to my systems but not overpowering bass. I've been completely happy with a single 10 in all the systems I've had. I just put a new head unit in my dad's 46 Chevy street rod and it sounds a million times better than the old deck. He's running 4 Pioneer 3 way 6.5's and a single 10" JL 10W0 in a sealed box powered by a 4 channel MTX amp. It sounds super clean and thumps hard too!
