2001 Yamaha YZF-R6...let my buddy ride it and he wrecked it. It's been collecting dust since June 06

After I sold my bikes I rode around my bros RM125 for a bit until he sold it. He bought it new and only put about 10 hours on it. The pics are from a few years ago. I haven't been on a bike since Spring '05. Back in my prime I was racing 125B. At the end of the season I was supposed to step up to 250B but I got hurt and couldn't ride at that level anymore.

The indy chassis is like early to mid 90's chassis? Have any pics of your sleds?

I was thinking about it. It needs left side fairings, bar ends, clutch lever, left footpeg, left mirror, and graphics. It is 98% cosmetic. It ran fine before but after the wreck it seems to misfire past 5 grand. Someone was telling me that there is some fuel cutoff thing that might of been set off. I haven't really ****ed with it. I rode it once for a few miles, disconnected the battery, and parked it. I focused on my WS6 after that....UNTIL some stupid ****ing blonde ***** doing her mascara while driving rearended me. Come Oct 31st at 730pm I quite caring about cars/bikes for this season.

[QUOTE=KuruptWS6spd]no, it was to far gone to do anything with it. Wow I would have bought it back just for the engine and some minor stuff cause you said you were only rear ended

I thought about it but I would rather just buy easy projects now. I have 1 1/2 years of college so money is an object. An LT1 car and putting the rest of money towards tution is my best choice. Play with that for a few years then sell that + some money and get my 98+ LS1 car

I was thinking about getting rid of it cause I need all the money I can get for college and still get a new toy in the spring. I got a butt load from my WS6 but used 9k of it for housing, food, tutition this semester. It's Yamaha blue of course! **** that red shit! I'll try and take some pics when I'm home in 10 days or so. I am going him Friday the 8th. PM me if you remember. I'd like to keep it but I'm trying to be smart and pay as much college up front as i can.

You remind me of my buddy, always selling and buying toys. Every couple weeks, hes got something new. Awesome collection.

Well it wasn't always buying and selling bikes for the he hell of it. I started riding motocross when I was 6 and was sold my 250f when I was 18. The R6 I'd like to keep but now that it's wrecked I'd rather just sell it and get the few extra grand for college then keep a bike sitting in my garage collecting dust that someone else coud enjoy. I don't think 7 bikes and 3 cars over 15 years is bad..... A buddy of mine has owned 18 cars since he's been 15 and he's only a few months older then I am. He owned 2 when he was 15 he coudnt even drive alone.
