  • Tom from Ortonville, MI

New to the site (sorta). I've been on about a month and just seen messiens message about introducing yourself. My name is Tom Halley, I'm 21, graduated Goodrich High School in 2004. I'm currently attending Ferris State University for Automotive mangement and will be graduated Dec 08. Also, I work at Vehicle Accessories in Flint, MI. My first car/truck was a 1995 GMC sonoma which over time I bagged and put in a huge system. See pics below! In June 2002, I broke my back racing motorcross out at BajaMX in Birch Run, MI. Doctors said I'd never walk again but after about Day 11 after the crash I started regaining movement in my feet. June 25th, 2003 (1 day short of a year) I was back at the track! My Grandpa sold me his 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis LS for $1 senior year of high school and I've been driving that as my DD ever since. May 2005 I sold my truck to some guy in Grand Rapids and bought my 2001 Trans Am WS6 from a buddy of my Dad (see pics). Was dead stock besides gas/oil/spark plugs/air filter (I know, I'm a rebel!) October 31, 2006 some ***** rear ended me on her way to a Holloween party and totaled out my car. Long story short I'm going to go out and get an LT1 M6 TA or Camaro in the spring and put the rest of the insurance money into a few mods and paying for college. Oh, I also Snowboard/snowmobile and I'm always looking to go with new people. If you have any questions about me PM me, IM me at CLC96GrandmaLS, or Email me at KuruptWS6spd@gmail.com

nice car tom, sucks about it being totalled....and nice recovery on the MX crash....i've always been a bit scared when i went out to Baja cause i had seen some people bite it hard out there and leave not moving like yourself. that kinda got me out of the MX scene, that and my old S10 was totalled so for a few years i had nothing to get my bike around with....

i think i figured out why you're "GRANDMA LS"

Yup, Muscle car/Fbody stuff I'm KuruptWS6spd because of my Trans Am but I got the nickname GrandmaLS because everyone loves my Grand Marquis. I mean its the partymobile cause of the size and Roadtrips are a blast. If you take the "rquis" out of Grand Maquis LS you get "GrandmaLS" Plus it's a grandma car. I actually modded my emblem on the back of the trunk to read GrandmaLS on the car

no, it was to far gone to do anything with it. 2000 Polaris XC600SP. Clutch kit, 144 studs, piped, tunnel grip plates. The pic is from a dead stop. If I can get traction on ice I can pull away from most 800's

if you ever need parts for that let me know. me and my dad have that same sled that he races at the soo 500 so i have tone of parts for them.

ohh and that doesn't looks you just took off from a stop. looks more like u are coming up that lttle hill right there. cuz those sleds don't lift up evertything its more the whole track is on the ground and the skis are about 8-12 inches off the ground leik liek 2 ft. plus it wouldnt be shooting snow out from the front of the track that soon.

Nope, that's from a dead stop. I was sitting at the top of the hill and pinned it. Keep in mind at the time I weighed 115lbs and could stand it straight up and down if the condictions were right. The pic was taken with 2 year old studs so right off be bat the track spins like crazy and about a second later it hooks. Plus its a beast for a 600 with the race clutch and pipe. Gets pretty annoying after 5 hours of trail riding though . My dad wants me to sell my sled and take his sled so he can get a new fusion. He has a 2002 XC600SP but I'm not a fan of the Edge Chassis. The GenII seems to be working for me though
