Hi folks, Dan here, I'm new to the site but I've been to some of the meets at Baker's in Milford over the years. In the past I've owned a 69 Firebird, a 2010 Camaro SS, and my wife currently owns a 2011 Camaro LS. I drag race as a hobby and have a grass roots race team (Mid Life Crisis Racing) my wife is the crew chief. This is partially what got me to join the group, currently we race a 1996 S-10 in the Summit Racing bracket series, I run the truck in the pro, and Sportsman (Street) brackets. We have now added a second vehicle to the race team to be set up to run strictly in the Street bracket hopefully starting next season. The second vehicle is a 1999 Firebird T-Top car with a blown 3.8 in it so that needs to be replaced, the plan is to swap in the 355 that is currently in the S-10 over the off season. So yep I'm going to have some questions for everybody here, I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of you through the questions and answers.

Welcome to the site Dan! I don't think we've ever met, maybe we have, but I know I've seen your truck many times in Sam's FB posts with her logo on your truck.

Thanks for the welcomes folks, sorry for the delay posting, been busy, we just got back Monday from the division 3 bracket finals in Indy. Didn't go great went out in the first round.. Brian yes we have met a few times, my wife and I were active in the Detroit 5th gen Camaro Club for a few years, lots of good folks there. I'll probably spend most of my time on here in the technical pages. It's time to start working on the project Firebird. Looking at a L-76 6L80 package to put in it right now.
