    Hello,

Long time Firebird owner, currently have 2 odd ball Birds.

My other car is a 1997 Firebird Convertible, 3800 V-6, 5-speed car with the V-6 Performance Package. Fun Reliable Daily Summer Driver. That I kept Stock.

I added a couple of pic's of my cars I had on my HD

I hope to be able to ad to the conversation here. And hopefully attend some of the events.

Thanks for all the Kind Words, alittle History on the 69 Sprint. When I 1st got it in the late 80's, a very good friend and co worker at the time was Big into 5.0 Mustangs, and he said I would never be able to build a N/A I-6 that could beat his 5.0 LX Coupe. His car ran 13.90's at the time. I started with a Chevy 292 Crank, used a set of Eagle H-beam rods for a Toyota Supra. Ported the Head, had a 1 off HEI built for it, the Chevy Crank let me use the smaller style SBC Fluid Damper, a set of Old Clifford Long Tube headers. True Duel Exhaust. Swapped out the 3.55 10 Bolt for the 4.11 12 Bolt Posi, and swapped the Saginaw 3-speed for a WC T-5 from an 86 T/A. After some tuning it not only Beat his 5.0 on the track, but it would pull 2 car legths stop light to stop light. Unfortunately shortly after I finished the car my friend fell ill and passed. Way to young at 36 years. and I lost a lot of interest in the cammer as a result of the memories it brought back. But last spring I decided to get it back on the road, and with the help of some friends have been able to get it running better than ever.
It looks like I will be at the dream cruise with it this year, parked with my long time Club "the Royal Pontiac Club" in Birmingham. But I hope to visit you all when I get bored just sitting.
Also I will have to figure out how to join the MI Firebird Club here.

If you're out on Woodward and see a bunch of Firebirds and Camaros parked at the Detroit Ducati dealership where Adams Rd merges into woodward (1/2 mile north of 14 Mile Rd) stop in and say hi.
