  • WHATS UP

Hey there Mi F-body enthusiasts. I recently picked up a new to me Camaro and figured joining here would help make some new car based friends, and help through any tech issues I may be having. Anywho, my sig describes my Matte Black Custom Camaro SS build. Got a ton done since acquisition, and Hoping to get more done. Ill post up pics when the outdoors allow for it. I feel this would make a good Q&A type deal , if anybody has any questions for me, drop a comment lol. I am an open book.
    Current Rides:
Daily Driver: 1993 Camaro v6, LT1/T56 Swap, full SLP Suspension, Bahnhof Stage 3 Clutch, 4:10 Posi, Flowmaster Exhaust, SS wheels, 2002 front clip, SS spoiler, minor cam, aluminum heads with more to come.

Project: 1989 Corvette tuneport 350 automatic, aftermarket suspension and exhaust: planning LS1/4l60e swap in coming year or so, and some other misc stuff such as 4-point harnesses, posi, new paint, and some other potential goodies. Mostly still on chalk board

Logic: building a ridiculous daily driver, then having a fairly plain performance car

Externally, Its getting a new front clip today, new bumper, fenders, and hood, I have a fiberglass SS hood, that fit the 1993-1997 but considering the two cracks in the hood, pin down holes, and with the new front end being shaped different, it wont work... I have to install the new clutch assembly as well, replacing every component there, just waiting on the slave and master cylinders to finish the job... I will take before and afters, the previous owner decided he needed to assault a curb, and raped some frontal components. I went yesterday and traded a $200 shotgun, initally for taillights, headlights, some small misc interior parts, and the hood, and the guy was like, yeah im scrapping the car so anything you want just take, so I got a good chunk of front clip, im picking up the trans for $50 with console and shifter later this next week, and I pulled all useable parts I could. I was transporting all of these parts in a hyundai Tiberon, so multiple trips were made. TONS of good replacements for the current setup, unfortunately, im going to have to spraypaint the front parts, but as most of the car has a spray paint paintjob, it will work. I have a LONG weekend ahead of me, If anybody has nothing to do this weekend, and wants to help out, get some food, and spare parts if not used, Im down for anybody coming out. will need to bring tools if you do tho, dont have a ton to work with.

Sounds like a fun project -- you're not changing to a 98+ front clip are you?

It already has the newer front clip, and the new front clip i picked up is in better shape, so I am Re-swapping so to speak.

And Greg, please do, and let me know. Those two parts are keeping me driveway bound until they are fixed.

So it's a 1993 Camaro with a 98+ front end clip and you're putting another 98+ front clip on it?
