  • Hello from Toledo

Hey everyone, my name is Alex and I live in Toledo. Ohio. I am new to the site and am looking to get my first fbody. I currently own a 1991 5.0 Mustang LX hatchback. My budget is about 5-6K. I have some wiggle room, but what condition of LS1 car am I likely to be able to get for that amount as far as mileage/body condition/wear/tear/abuse? Here's a few picture of my Mustang. Its mostly stock with some 1993 Cobra wheels on it. I look forward to your feedback! Thanks, Alex

Welcome to the site Alex! For 5-6k, you're going to get a 150k LS1 with possibly some body work needed (peeling paint, cracked bumpers, etc). 6-7k you'll get a better LS1 car with 100k and better body/paint.

This is pretty accurate, but you're starting to shop at the right time of year, and these cars are still depreciating.

Be mobile with cash in hand and you can get a real deal over the next few months.

        Welcome and enjoy the site!

          Welcome to MiFBody!

There are a couple of nice 6-speed LT1 cars for sale on this site right now that are within your budget; would you consider one of those?
