    New to this forum, I own a '95 trans am, current driveway ornament, looking for a new A4 - 4l60e trans, from '95 or '96 to get my baby back on the road, if anyone has one for sale, let me know

      Yea, hope so, paid 1200 for a trans I got 9000 miles on... Shitty
      Rebuilt / manufactured.. Sucks.. Shattered my foot last summer couldn't drive my ta, then this summer trans lost 3-4 can't drive it this summer.. Ahh such is life,

          That just happened to my truck. The #8 check ball blew through the separator plate and nuked the 3/4 clutches. It was easy enough to rebuild if you feel adventurous there are books out there.

              I would be all for DIY, however I have no where to do it at... I'm going to just pull and replace.. It's gotta be a better than oem, as the money I am spending on that was for my cam.. Lifters ect... Ahh the dbag who put it won't even return an email... Yes it was past one... Not going to deny that.., I just wanted a pro rated price for retuned business and the fact it was under 10,000 miles, two years of "cruising" huge difference.. If I beat the piss out of it. That's one thing but cruising..,

                  welcome to the site, check CL, should be able to find something useable for a good price. What about having yours rebuilt ?
