  • Introducing My Car

I have been a member for a little while now, but when i joined my car was in no shape to show off.. It was on jack stands with no more than half the body panels on it, and that was it. Well i finished the car up, for the most part, last fall. I haven't posted any pictures of it yet, so i will now. This is all i have, and they were all taken with my phone. Maybe one of these days i will clean it and take a few good pictures immediately.

And about the car. It is a 1998 trans am, with most everything out of a 2000 trans am. Mods include full exhaust, lt, ory, and a flowmaster. It was cheap and sounds alright, and I'm on a budget. Then most everything in the suspension is new. Energy suspension bushings front and rear, kyb agx shocks, 1 coil cut off all springs, and stb and rca and pan hard bar all from founders. Eventually i want h/c and an ls6 intake as soon as i find a good deal on one. Made 304rwhp and 306rwtq before i tuned it. Learning how too tune as i go, and its going well.

    But...

    it's about damn time...

So it was good enough to go to the M&G, but not good enough to post pics?

Very nice, man! Always a fan of the red & black combo!

Quick question about the hood -- why the kick-up about halfway back on the side of the scoops?

              Cuz its cool!!

I saw a picture of a car with a similar stripe, and thought it looked great and was a little different. Plus stripes add power and the hood needed too be painted.

Hp tuners. I just put the plasti dipped ws6 wheels on the car for the first time today. I really like how the flat black turned out. And it was a lot cheaper than actually restoring the rims.
