    hi everyone my name is glen topping jr im 22 just bought my first car and its a 1989 pontiac firebird ssa 2.8 im looking for parts and advice on what would be the best for it.

    Hi Glen, welcome to MiFBody! What is a Firebird SSA exactly? I'm not familiar with that designation. Please post up some pics of your ride!

        From what I know of them, the SSA is an appearance package option that was one of those regional-only available packages that was (I think) only in California, only for V6 Firebirds, and only in '89. Made your sixer look like a T/A minus the wheels.

        Should be a pretty rare car.

          Now why would any sane person ever want to spend money on gussying up a sixer?!?

          (Note to Glen, since you're new here: I have spent far too much on my own sixer's appearance, and not enough to acquire the missing two cylinders! )

                Welcome! I can't wait to see the car! My recommendation would be to go for a clean, healthy, stock look. Once your there you can decide if you want to begin modding.
