Hello, I'm Michelle & I own a '93 Trans Am, LT1/auto, bright red hardtop. I've tried to post my intro a couple other times but my phone kept messing up & it never went through for some odd reason. I've had the car since June of 2012 and so far I've added the following: K&N Air Filter (will be upgrading to cold air intake this year), '98-'02 Honeycomb taillights, and when I got it the front driver's seat was trash so I found some black & grey cloth '97 Camaro seats (front & rear) to swap in. The previous owner had painted a few interior parts red, so I stripped the paint off those and dyed them satin black along with the door panels, center console, and a couple other parts. I'm wanting to convert the interior to black and tan from light grey. It's still a work in progress but hopefully I'll be able to find the parts I need to make it exactly how I want. I'm in Adrian, MI, about a half hr from Toledo, OH and it would be cool to meet fellow members in the area as I plan on learning how to do a lot of the work on the TA myself & with my boyfriend's help (he is learning about cars as well, I've loved them since I was little but he's only had the car bug since he met me LOL). So far I've changed the oil, installed new NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, new red plug wires, serpentine belt, and put on some Blizzaks for winter LOL. Anyway here are some pics from right after we brought the car home:

Welcome Michelle. My name is Ben. I also live in Adrian. There are a number of fbody fans in the Adrian area. If you have questions or are looking for something in particular please do not hesitate to ask. I work at Advance Auto if you care to drop by some time. Also I might recommend you look up Nick (93formulalt1). He is the president of the Michigan firebird club and he owns a couple of LT1 cars like yours . If you ask he would also be happy to help you find what you need. See you around

Welcome to the site, Michelle! I'm pretty sure I've seen your car, I think I drove by your house on my way home from work every once in a while when I was still living in Adrian. . .
Anyways, I live about 45 minutes from Adrian now, and I do have a 93 Formula parts car, so if you need any parts specifically, let me know, and I may be able to help you out. There are a couple of Firebirds in junkyards in Toledo as well, but they are pretty much gone now, all the good stuff has been picked off them already.
We are getting ready to start planning a couple of events for the Michigan Firebird Club for this summer/fall, if you are interested in attending, let me know, and we can send you the details!
Welcome to the site, glad you could make it!Nick H.

Thank you & nice to meet you as well Ben, I've been in Advance Auto several times but I don't recall seeing an F-Body in the parking lot, what does yours look like or is it put up for winter? I'll probably be in there soon to order a new starter, I think the one in my TA is getting a little weak... unfortunately the TA is our daily driver at the moment so hopefully no rust forms over winter. We hope to get it repainted but it has a dent from the previous owner on the driver's side quarter that needs fixed first. All in good time

Thank you 93formulalt1, I think I might have seen yours as well? Do you (or did you) work downtown near the theatre or by Pelham's Auto? There's a red Firebird down there but I don't think it's a Formula, not sure. As far as the '93-'97 body style I've seen a green Firebird (with silver or gold hood stripes), a silver Formula LT1, a red Trans Am that was really clean & looked almost identical to mine besides the yellow emblems & it had 5 spoke wheels, and a black one in the Lowe's parking lot (that may have been a '98-'02, it was dark and I saw it from the rear). I am looking for various parts actually, like a hardtop black headliner, black center console w/ unbroken arm rest (prefer the revised one w/ extra cupholders but not a must), black or tan leather seats or the black w/ red insert cloth seats from a Camaro, black or tan interior plastics, a Ram Air hood, nice black carpet, etc. I've gotten some parts off of the red & green Firebirds at Cherry Picked Auto in Toledo, they just got a nice black '98+ V6 Camaro in but it is a t-top so unfortunately I didn't get anything off that LOL. I am definitely interested in any car shows (F-Body specific or not) in the SE MI & NW OH area, so yes I would love any info on that. Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome, I have some parts I don't need so I will get some pics of those & see if anyone would be interested.
