Howdy fbody family
My name is Christopher Lee Hughes but everyone calls me Christopher Lee . Originally I'm from Shreveport,La. But have been living up north here in Tacoma , Wa . For about 25 years . I hiuve always loved camaros and firebirds especially trans-and and mostly 1978-80 TA'
s and z-28's . What brings me to this very hospitable community is this....about 2 weeks ago a friend of mines brother begged me to buy his 92 camaro . He was supposed to be going to a fairly long inpatient treatment center and wanted to have some $$ in his pocket while he was there . At first I told him I couldn't afford it but the deal was really to good to say no to $500 with only $$ 200 down . Long story short is this I ended up paying the whole $500 before he was scheduled to leave so I let him drive the car until that day and he was to come pick me up on a Saturday and I was to drop him at the treatment center and keep my car . Yes you probably guessed who didn't show up .so by the time I got the car back the ignition had been tapped , one of the t- tops was gone and now even with the right chipped key the car won't run unless I jump the starter and even then it's hard to keep runnig . I can't afford to put more $ into it cause I'm a single father with a 17 year old daughter and rent due today . If I could at least drive it back and forth to my new job it would be great . I heard there was a way to bypass or at least reset the computer but none of manuals I have even scratch the surface of the subject . The Danny thing doesn't even have the stock stereo in it anymore . Any help would be so appreciated .
