Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Nice to know there are other Camaro fanatics out there and I am not alone.
First dumb question...anyone have a good way to change the spark plugs in on a 97 Z28 lt1??? Told it was a dumb question
Welcome to the site! And if you figure out the spark plug question, please let me know! I've come to the conclusion that when it comes time to change my spark plugs, I would rather drop the entire motor out of the car, remove the headers, and then swap the spark plugs. I think that would actually take less time than trying to get the plugs out with the engine in the car.
Tough job. I think 7 and 8 are easiest from below, the others you can get from up top, but I don't remember exactly. Might as well put some longtube headers in while you're in there anyways, welcome to the site!
I can show you something that might help. This is what I had to make to change the plugs on my IROC with Hooker headers
Went to Autozone and bought a cheap 5/8 short socket with a 1/2 drive. I had to narrow the snout to fit my Edelbrock aluminum heads. I ground two flats on the sides to fit a 22mm or 7/8 wrench.

Hey Pat, I found ya......welcome aboard.
Having dealt with this myself in my '94Z and '96SS, I'd just drop the LT1 in place of an LS1 . Much easier....
Surprised no one has asked for pics yet.....
