basic rundown of the car... its a 1982 camaro z28 indy 500 pace car. the women that owned it before me didnt like the silver and blue pace car colors so, she painted the car white. the car has a 305ho with 60,000 miles on it now bought it with 59,000. Im putting a 355 in it this winter with a turbo 350. Got the hood this past winter it's a 4inch steel cowl and the tires are 275 x 60r x 15 on the rear. The rims are 15x4 and 15x8. Its a running project, the main thing it needs is paint being 15 year old paint it has its cracks and chips but i paid 3,900 for it about 2 years ago. I will keep posting pictures during my progress in building the car. MY GOAL for the car is to one day run low 11's while its a street car maybe 10's with a bottle but, thats with a whole new set-up. I've been a member for the past 2 years just wanted a new name and first time posting pics. Feel free to shot me some tips and comments... thanks for looking

when i first bought the car.....

Please paint it silver and blue again. What a shame she did that.

yea i wish she wouldn't of done that, the funny story about that is.. the guy i bought it off of ( her son ) said it was a indy pace car. I didnt belive him, i was just bought on how clean the car was so i bought it. i went to secritary of state to get it registerd and she said we dont have that vin on file must be a special car. So she had to pull up a list of the pace car vin's and sure enough it was the vin. I'm not really to sure on what color im painting it. I like the white, but i do like the way it came out of the factory. Would be cool to paint it back to factory, put the new motor in it, keep the cowl hood on it and mini tube it.

Hmmm, special pace car VIN? May be worth more money to sell to a collector and then you could find another project car plus have a bankroll in hand for your mods.

Regardless, welcome to MiFBody, and thanks for sharing the pics of your ride!
