  • Another new guy to the site..

Very cool site you all have here! My family has been the proud owner of a 77 Camaro "barn find" for about a year now. It's been a mouse condo for over 20 years. Basically stock with under 50k on it. I'm relatively new to Camaros so I'm sure I'll have plenty of question for you all.

Welcome to the site, Scott! We have many members in the Zeeland area - I'm sure they'll chirp in soon enough. Post some pics when you get a chance. We're a really social site, so feel free to jump in on the conversations.

                Well here ya go.
The first one is how we found it.
The next one shows one of the squatters I had to evict out of the heater core.
The last show new tires on the rally wheels and a good cleaning.
We did gut the interior and installed new carpet, headliner, dash cover, and used a ton of bleach to get the critter smell out.
The paint in the pic looks better than it really is. The body will get stripped next year.
Just making it run good this year.
A little history...my sister bought it in 1979 so I'm the 3rd owner.

The car has been fun even though it only has:
                          - 305 (with headers)
                          - Automatic
                          - Original 2.56 rear end
                          - No A/C

I'm crowding 50 now and I used to "test" the car when I was in high school when my sister let me get gas for her.
Now my son is 17 and guess what....

It's not a ticket getter but it does know its way to our favorite ice cream place....and it sounds respectable.

                          Thanks for the warm welcome!!
