Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

Edit: Guess I should read the 2nd page before replying
The red green black connector could be either the crankshaft position sensor or the cam position sensor. I see both of them showing up as red green black for wiring.
Do the 3.4L v6s have an AIR pump? I see Chilton saying the air pump plug being red, red, black.
My brother just told me one injector was cracked....fml can you but just one and I won't be able to update on the car cuz the rain so I can't work on it
had my buddy look at it and he said i would prolly have to readjust the rockers......said it sounds like its firing on the intake which would explain smoke from the filter and it would be getting more air so that it gets compensated with more fuel........does that sound correct to any of you?

Sounds possible... but u obviously still have a vacuum leak from the intake if ur idle jumped when u hit it with carb clean. and u still have those loose connectors to figure out too. Id try fixing those things before tearing the intake back off to pull ur valve covers off to reset ur valve lash
1995 Firebird Formula (Sold but not forgotten)
1998 Camaro Z28 LS1
2003 Silverado 2500HD CCSB 4x4 6.6 Duramax (DD with minor mods for better "MPG's")
Smoke out of what filter? Did you let a bunch of coolant into the lifter valley and not drain the oil? Could be blow by or a clogged PCV.
Rip the intake back off and start over, or at least fix the bad injector (or area around the injector). I can't physically diagnose your car from 150 miles away, only suggestions. I'm trying not to be an a-hole here....but if you would have pulled it apart and started over, well, you might be on the road right now.

We actually called the dealer and checked autozone n stuff around here and they couldn't tell us a thing about the connector as to where it would go to

the smoke is coming from the air filter which leads me to believe that the valve lash is off and its firing on the intake and the smoke is being pushed back thru the manifold and out the air filter
then it sounds to me like a gasket it bad somewhere in the intake system, which is proven by the starting fluid test you did. So basically im with michael and that all needs to be torn down, and start going over every thing seals and all with a good eye. and even if you cant spot an issue while its apart you might as well replace as many gaskets as you can get to while its apart.
