And why would I spend all the money this adds up too doing a 3.8? Well, I finished spending over 20k on my 77 Monte Carlo project below and was bored. Also, it doesn't hurt to make great money enabling me to do this stuff. Plus I've done all the work myself at my friends shop minus the machine shop doing the short block. On the plus side, the 3.8 no longer sounds like a v6 at all... I mean not even a little... Has a pretty aggressive lope, extremely nice sounding exhaust tone, good idle, terrific throttle response, accelerates faster then I thought it would, and horrible gas mileage...
383 Stroker motor I built for the 77 monte carlo. Full roller motor, too many parts to list.

Took it down to bare metal and shaved everything and installed autoloc poppers

I decided to do a marble paint on the lower half that changes colors. Air ride technology street challenge kit, electronic exhaust cut outs....actually i replaced every moving part so im not going to list it lol... Thanks to thousands of dollars spent at SummitRacing.com I now have a car im too scared to drive. Worried I'll get shot, car jacked, pulled over again like last week.. Just too much attention so yeah.. Dont recommend making an eye catcher for any car. Would I ever spend this much again on a car? Never...
