    Saying 'sup' from 'south of the border' (Toledo)

    Hey, names Mike, 24 going on 25 now and I have.. an F-Body problem. It started when I was very young and compounded with some genetic factors (both parents were Camaro-heads) I fell into the vat of awesome that is F-Body.

    However, unlike them I went the way of the Iron Chief and picked up a Trans Am after just coming across it at a used Ford lot. 2010, and the car was 10 years old with only 29K miles. 14000 miles and one drag race wreck later, I still drive it; I just owe more on it now than I did when I bought it for 10 grand. I'm also a member of SLP so don't be hatin' on me now.. I know there's bad blood out there.

          Like Nate said, no bad blood here. I know several SLP folks and they're all genuinely great people.

            There is no bad blood towards SLP from this side, they are a club and we are a forum. Just a group of us that love all Fbody cars. Glad to have you as part of the group. Mark June 9th on your calender thats our Meet & Greet, hope you can make it.

              Welcome to the site, Mike. Absolutely love the color of your car - is it the Maple Red? Looks great. Like my dad (Plum Nuts) said, mark your calendar for June 9th.

              As for the bad blood with SLP, absolutely none here. Some people don't let go of the past no matter how hard we try to make amends, but that's nothing to get caught up on. That said, there isn't anyone in SLP that I wouldn't go out of my way to say hi to. Bunch of great guys, no doubt.

                  Looks like Monterey Maroon Metallic -- is Maple Red the Pontiac name for that paint?
