  • New guy in SE Michigan

Hey guys! I just picked up my new 02 Trans Am and am pretty excited for it. Looking forward to some nicer weather to get to take it out and really enjoy her. One of the guys over at firebirdnation mentioned this site and the annual show out in Milford. Hope to see you guys out there!

    -Ben

She's out in the cold now, but I'll be moving her to storage this weekend if the weather clears up.

Problem was I picked it up just as snow was starting to come down. I went and got the registration and plates taken care of today. I feel bad leaving her shivering out in the cold but I'll be moving it in the next couple days.

Not too sure what my plans will be. Right now it's actually sitting full stock which I do like. Not sure how much I'll actually be doing. If I do anything I'll probably start with cosmetics and see how she holds up mechanically when I start driving this spring/summer. I was looking at a strut tower brace as it would be pretty easy to get in and still serve a some purpose. I'm also thinking about doing a black/blue color scheme with blue logos and brakes just to add a little color.

Welcome and very nice car. Once you start modding it can become quite addicting, so if you like it stock, be careful

Welcome to your new family, Ben! Like Joel said, sitting out in the snow isn't bad, it's the salt.
