Hi everyone, my name is Peter, I'm in the UK and I am currently restoring a 1978 Firebird and a 1980 Trans Am with my son.
The 78 is a 4 speed manual, numbers matching, but requires a lot of work, starting with welding most of the panels, floor, trunk floor etc. the frame and rails are OK though.
The 80 is a numbers matching WS6 in much better condition than the 78, a few small rust holes in the floor, and a bit of body work before a re spray and decals, it has car concepts T Tops fitted, considering removing these and welding on a second hand hardtop roof then fitting Hurst Ts in to it.
Any way enough from me for now, hope to hear from some of you soon. Holiday greetings to you all. Peter.
