  • I finally picked an fbody forum to register on... bout time 94 Z28 w/ pics

My name's Dave. I cut down trees for a living out of Livonia. Ive owned a few camaros and firebirds in the past. My latest is a 1994 Camaro Z28 w/ 105k t-tops. I bought it for 1700$ from marine city and it ran like shit. Lady said bad 02 sensor... it could barely make it down the street. Plug wires were fried almost all the way through from whoever did them last. She wanted 2500, i offered her 1700 and she took it. 100$ later the car ran great. Since then ive been slowly fixing it up and adding little things here and there. Its no where near finished but i dont mind. Ive been meaning to mod a car for a long time, just never got around to it.

    when i first got it:

    And the latest:

The other day i replaced my intake manifold gasket so i touched up a few things. went a little paint crazy but i think it looks good. Pacesetter LTs and OTVC MSD reds are my next mods. Just waiting for my o2 extensions to get here so i can start the install (oh boy!) Only mods right now are CAI, a/c delete, and a 3" exhaust with a flowmaster 40 and chrome tips. The steering wheel was not a fun install, and the seat brackets that came with the seats were about 6 inches too short. I got the original seat brackets to fit them, power racing seats anyone (yes)? The exhaust needs to be rewelded because this shit place on greenfield and joy left me with some tiny leaks. Plus i want the tips to be almost flush with the bumper. After my headers are in i think im gonna use v clamps for the y pipe and so on
      And the LATEST engine picture:

manual is only on the passenger side because i had to replace the door and it had no power. manual mirror manual windows and manual locks on that side (sucks.)

Welcome to the site! Nice ride.... Have to say I am debating as to whether I like the halo's or not. Sweet ride, nonetheless!

Welcome to the site! Good job on taking the supra wing off - looks much better without it. Curious though - the side profile shot looks kinda weird with the rims. It looks like the front tires are pushed way too far back and the front tires are way too far forward -- what's up with that?

The tires are slightly turned to the left, B...that might be part of it...

Congrats on the modifications...vastly improved from when you bought it...
