    Hello everyone,

Just a little about me: I am originally from Sanilac County near the very small town of Snover. (If you know where Marlette, or Sandusky is, it is near those two towns.) I grew up on a farm, so I have been around mechanical things all of my life and have been taking things apart ever since I can remember. (and getting in trouble for it too) In 2007 I started at Kettering University in Flint Michigan studying Mechanical Engineering with a Bioengineering concentration. I will graduate from there at the end of this month and am currently looking for a job withing an hour of the Saginaw area. In the summer of 2008, I acquired my project car; a 1978 Nova with, at the time, 52,000 original miles on it. It had been a Michigan car its entire life, but had only seen one winter in the heavy salt. I know this because My dad bought it with 12,000 miles on it in February of 79'. That was the only winter it ever saw. It had never been in an accident, and still had all the original equipment, with the 305, th350 and 2.41 posi residing in the stock 8.5 10 bolt. Since then, I have pulled the 305, put in a 383 stroker that I built myself, replaced the 2.41's with 3.73's, new wheels and tires, new upholstery, etc. I heard about this site from jetice, who worked at GM as a co-op and met one of my fraternity brothers. He then stayed in our fraternity house this past school term and tomorrow will be becoming a full member of the fraternity. I have seen and ridden in Jentry's firebird, and it is nice; he did an excellent job with it. I guess that's pretty much it about me; if anyone knows of any Mechanical Engineering jobs in the Saginaw, Midland, Bay City, Flint area, let me know.

Thanks for all the good luck wishes everyone! I have some more good news too. Yesterday, just as I was finished with posting this thread, I got a call from one of the places I interviewed at, and they offered me a job!

Which means I'll have more money to sooner. and pay off the school debt.

I'm A section Sigma Nu. Technically I'm alumni now, since this is my last school term. It sounds kind of weird to say that, lol.
