  • Howdy!

Hey everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself and say I look forward to making it to some of the meets!

My name is Andy, I just recently acquired a Yellow 1994 Firebird Formula 6-speed with 112,000 miles. Having fun with it already and looking forward to more fun in the future. I'll try and post some pics soon otherwise Hello to all the fellow f-body lovers!

Ok well I was able to sneak out and get a couple shots for you all.

I desperately need to get some tires of the correct size. The ones that are on there are winter tires! I've been looking around, considering some c5 thin spoke rims but we'll see what happens...

It's quite possible, Chesterfield is a hop, skip, and a jump from me. 14 mile and Gratiot are my main stomping grounds...which I am sure you know where that is. I purchased the car from a fellow in Wayne MI about 2 weeks ago, sonic you've seen it before then it was while he was driving.

I've got some ideas of what I want to do, but mostly just doing reading at this point. Certainly not my first rodeo when it comes to mods and working on my own car. I've already changed most of the major fluids...Pennzoil platinum 5w30 and Mobil1 oil filter, drained tranny and replaced with dexIII (know first hand about syncromesh and t56 woes), rear diff drained and replaced with Mobile1 LS 75w90.

I really like the warm welcomes and it seems like the general attitude of the people here are nice...definitely a bonus! I look forward to being a member and hope to become a member who can contribute welcome advise eventually, but for now I'll listen to the guys who know these cars better than I do and do my learning.

I have to give credit where credit is due however, and thanks to my very good buddy Jason who told me about this site. He owns a FRC LS1 Vette, so I don't know if he is on here.
