  • Introduction, first time LS1 owner.

    Hey everyone.

I've been on here for a while and have been searching for an F Body for years. Well, today I finally brought home "the one."

100% stock, meticulously maintained, 1998 z28, auto trans.

I plan to do a trans upgrade, 4000 stall, a rear end upgrade to a 9" or 12 bolt, and get some slicks and skinnies within a month or two. I want to see how quick I can get this thing on a totally stock engine. I also plan to do it right, and have the car launching straight, no chassis twist. Then later down the road do heads and cam and have a nice street / strip car.

So, if anyone has any of those parts laying around let me know. See you guys at the track and on the street!

Congrats on the new car! Sounds like a great car for "the one." Hope you can bring it to the Meet & Greet on Saturday.

Didn't know there was a meet & greet on saturday. No reason I shouldn't be able to make it out!
