Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Hoping to do some cruising in the next few weeks. I've got a 1968 Camaro that's been a work in progress the past 10 years. Finally got her out of paint and am planning on doing my first car show @ the sloan museum.
Wow, very active forum! Thanks for the warm welcome!
I started tearing the car apart in 05 and last August my wife had Dave Quintel steal my car for paint as my birthday present He did a fantastic job on the paint and actually, the pictures are in front of his house and were taken Monday at 10 am. The car is in my garage again
anyway, I need to get new tires as those are dry rot, some exhaust work and of course, I need a license plate and tabs before I bring it to the cruise on Monday nite. I'm going to see if I can get Dave to go with me since he did such a fantastic job with the paint!
Wow that's gorgeous!!!! Welcome to the site! Not too often we get an active member with a first Gen. Absolutely beautiful 68 and I love the ghost flames.
It's funny how I came up with the ghost flames. I originally wanted big bold white SS stripes and the night before paint we were going over the car when we realized we couldn't do SS stripes because of the hood. Anyway, I said, "Wouldn't it be cool to have ghost flames!" The painter liked the idea (those are freehand) so after adjusting the price and getting it okay'd by my wonderful wife, we took almost three weeks to figure out the flames. He did an awesome job and these pictures don't do them justice.
Thanks though, and yes, if you can't tell I'm excited! Here is a picture of them up close in his garage. Excuse the reflection of his metal ceiling
Wow that angle really makes it pop! Hey I saw you put you saw an Mifbody sticker on a car - was it an Fbody or trailblazer by chance? I have a banner on my back windows but I don't think it has gotten any new members yet hahaha
Oh, I just wanted to add how I found this site. I was actually driving down 14 mile by Ryan a week ago when this awesome black 4th gen pulled up beside me with a mifbody.com sticker on his window. That was one nice ride! To my enjoyment he headed up I-75 and I followed him (80 + mph) to Holly where for some reason he slowed down lol and I kept going. BTW, I was in the green ugly Malibu lol.
So, whoever had that awesome black 4th gen Fbody, all I have to say is "Nice ride! and thanks for sporting the sticker to this site!
I have a feeling you'll fit right in here, Jeff. We're a really social group if you can't tell, so feel free to jump into the threads and post away. We love it when people are active in all the posts.

Thanks and sorry for the delay in responding. I just noticed the two new posts.
Anyway, Dave Quintel did all the paint and body work out of his shop behind his house. He lives just down the road from me in Attica. He does good work and is very reasonable / honest.
Actually, all these pictures were taken at his house on Memorial Day. It was the first day we saw the car in natural sunlight
