lol well now that he's making an ass of both of us... JK lol my advice is to ignore him, it always worked for me... j/k again. He does know f-bodys so he will be of some use even though he's in an import. and besides since i'm getting a new engine maybe i'll be able to show him my tail lights again someday soon.

Devin is my brother. And I wanted to be able to post, or to ask some questions we might find when doing this engine swap. Besides, its an open forum right. Or am I not cool enough because I dont have a American V8 anymore?

I am not a ricer. I drag race, and am building my Evo for road racing (susp. brakes, cage...). Pretty much if it has an good engine, and can be made faster - Im a fan.

Thanks Jay and Ty. lol, I might in a few years. I do miss that v8 rumble.

Ah I did not make it to the shoot out. Lots of the miEVO group did. BR Racing went 8.95 @ 161 though to become the fastest Evo around.

Thanks turbocreeper, this should be interesting. I look forward to this project, I think deep down so does Devin. Sucks the motor went, but at least its an excuse to add more hp

LOL, I didn't even know EVO was made by Mitsubishi till now looking at your avatar.

Just be forwarned, you will take some abuse for a little while, I mean, you did put an EVO on an FBODY site, lol. Otherwise, as long as you contribute to the common good of the site, I'm ok with you being here, and since your bro has an fbody, we have to help him get faster than you, lol.

                    Welcome again.

                      Thanks for the welcome!

Oh I know - I get tons of crap at our shop for having a four door, giant wing, 4 banger. And I will contribute as much as I can, I still remember a good amount from my other cars. Right now a 405 hp LS6 is the front-runner for the heart transplant in my brothers z28. That might actually be a very even match for my car.

As long as your car isn't one of those slow ass imports I won't mess with you about your car except that you're just giving more money to the small man with small hands.

                              Welcome to the site.
I like the fact that you know you are on an f-body site, and you aren't trying to sell us on the fact that you are looking for a f-body. I can respect what your car will do,and thank you for not posting all sorts of pics of your car. It must of been hard to go from a V8 RUMBLE to a sewing machine whine.
