    Hey All,

I have gotten a chance to meet a few members when I am riding with my brother. Well Im joining up you guys too, at least in forum form, and at hangouts.

For those who dont know - I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Evo VIII, but I came from GM cars. I had a 76 Vette with a ZZ4 motor and a 1996 Impala SS with a hopped up LT1 (260hp version blew up, so I got rebuilt 330hp version and dropped that back in - of course with headers, intake, and all that good stuff). Made that old boat run better!

But just saying hello. Look forward to seeing people out at the dragway or road tracks.

    Mike

BTW - my Evo is pretty distinked - I have black Evo with 2 stickers on the rear window. One being www.miEVO.net the other is MG Racing (was Megan Racing, but well my initals are MG so the E, AN got lost )

    Catch ya around.

Haha, thats what my brother used to say. Until I handed him his arse at the track.

Maybe one of those new retros coming out in 2009. I did the 350/LT1 thing for a while. But getting into the turbo I4 game has been a lot of fun. Its pretty amazing what a 2L motor can do.

          Welcome to the forum.

Those are decent numbers, man. Have you had a chance to dyno yet. I don't know much about evos, and I'm curious how the numbers look that correspond to those times.

                  Thanks man,

I dynoed over a year ago at 318/303 on a dynojet in NJ. That was with a turbo-back exhaust, boost controler at 20psi, fuel pump, intake, and ECU flash.

Now I have lower IC pipe, 22psi, and have cooler spark plugs with the most gap the engine would take without blowout. And on 100 oct 25psi. But I can go up a few more at the track.

Number wise, hard to tell. Weight with driver is around 3300. So I figure 380ish to the wheels for that 11.9x run. 12.1x should be around 360ish. Id like to get re-dynoed sometime next summer.
