Ok so...my 1996 Camaro Z/28 SS is a fully loaded SLP car #246 w/ a 6 speed. It's got only 36,000 original miles and has got staggered 20" Foose Nitrous rims, Nitto tires, Intrax lowering springs, carbon fiber front emblem, rear "CAMARO" insert and dash trim. I've also changed the muffler to a Flowmaster and painted some black Grand Sport style strips on the front driver fender.

My bro's 1996 Impala SS is also fully loaded. He put the same wheels on as me (we get a good deal on Foose stuff) except 20" and 22"!! and last summer put on full AirRide RideTech suspension. It's also got a mild cam, custom grill, lights, stereo system, chip, exhaust, gears and a shift kit.

My dad's 1965 Impala SS is completely custom. Paint, interior, 454, 700R4, AirRide Ridetech, 18" and 20" Intro Pentia's, shaved emblems, door handles, custom bumpers, grill, taillights. There really isn't much on the car that is factory if anything. It's been in Super Chevy, Car Craft and Hot Rod multiple times. Hot Rod actually named the car "The Progenitor" becasue it was one of the earliest examples of the "Pro-Touring" look with a low stance and back then "huge" 17" rims. Keep in mind that was over 10 years ago!

lol, yes, those are the same wheels that i have on my car. im honestly not a huge fan, those rivets are a pain in the **** to keep clean!

Now, I could either just say "Jeff, get back under the bridge!" or I could try to engage in a healthy educational debate.

I would believe the $8,400 for an average to clean Z28, but I don't think KBB baked anything into their valuation for the SS package, which, if not already documented by paperwork, can be verified and documented by SLP.

Nor did KBB give a break for the show-car cleanliness that this car has.

And there's no standard allowance for the provenance of being a former Hot Rod/Car Craft/Super Chevy magazine car.

Plus, there's carbon fiber!

So, for a car of some notable background, in exceptionally fine condition, it seems like a fair starting point. Anyone who wants to deal is free to send Jason a PM with a counter offer.

not sure if all the new stuff (NEW CLUTCH, REAR MAIN SEAL, AC COMPRESSOR, WINDSHEILD) is a good or bad thing with only 42k on it
