        Yes - because it would have cost me twice as much to accomplish that than my engine swap did. Not to mention that I don't consider my car "molested."

        Prices are crazy cheap for ls1 camaros right now.
        It's an equal ratio on parts, Derek. Just as cheap as the LS1 Camaros are, the LS1s are going for crazy dirt cheap too. When I did my LT1 swap LS1s were in the 2500 range, now I'm seeing them sub 1000. IMHO, if you're willing to learn and willing to do the work, an engine swap is a great way to go.
