a stall seems like the best thing to do for an automatic lately
but that may be more than what you're looking to spend. i would agree with brian and say intake and exhaust. and if they car has a lot of miles, do a tune up and get it running as well as you can stock.2000 Trans Am l 1967 Firebird

Weclome to the site! The biggest difference i found when I started modding my car ('96 Bird) was getting rid of the stock air box and routing the air filter into the OEM opening. I think total, I spent $50 on the tubing and filter. Been running it ever since with no problems (roughly 3 years).sigpic
