Hey my name is Josh i have a 96 bird automatic transmission. Now i dont have a job but i love my car and i was wondering if anyone could tell me whats the cheapest way to get the most horse out of my car now.

but that may be more than what you're looking to spend. i would agree with brian and say intake and exhaust. and if they car has a lot of miles, do a tune up and get it running as well as you can stock.2000 Trans Am l 1967 Firebird

Do a CAI, LT's, port and polish heads, TB & a Tune.
If you have a bigger budget do a cam and rocker arms.

Weclome to the site! The biggest difference i found when I started modding my car ('96 Bird) was getting rid of the stock air box and routing the air filter into the OEM opening. I think total, I spent $50 on the tubing and filter. Been running it ever since with no problems (roughly 3 years).sigpic
