My name is Ky, I actually found the forum while researching ways to get my 1987 GTA up and operational.
The car was in storage for 13 years, at the time it was put away it was in good working order with 67K miles on it. Of course it is in need of some TLC now.
I have spend the last three years trying to do doing minor things here and there as time permits.
So far I have done the following:
My thoughts are that I will contact one of the local shops and see what the estimate would be to do the work and also verify that the engine is in working order. Although I have worked on numerous cars, that was almost 20 years ago. I am out of my comfort zone starting up this old beast and the last think I want to do any unnecessary damage. My goal is to try and have it up and operational by mid of April.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
