    new member here. saw meissenation over @ ls1tech mentioning a meet at stoney creek on may 13th. me and a buddy of mine would like to be a part of it

                    yeah that one is my parents car i love it. that's the whole reason why i ended up getting my SS.... it'll be out of storage very soon...and that means time for matt to pull some Boo Tay in it!!!!! hahaha

                    i might take that to the meet and greet as well...i'm not too certain, but it'll be a fun time regaurdless!

                        matt what kind of gains did you see out of those patriot heads?? i was just shopping in thier site yesterday but i am still not sure on what to get

                          don't ask me that question it's more or less the other way around....

                          what kind of lose did i get from those heads........

                          i actually lost 5 hp at the wheels if you can figure that...... it's actually cause i got the LC heads that have like a 70cc chamber, or something big like that, i forget, but i lost a bit of compression and therefor lost some HP...i am in the route for a turbo, so that's why i went with 'em...that and i got a really good deal on them, cause a friend of mine is sponsored by them so they were like $1,000

                          the 2.055 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves were so large, that there's a TON of chamber ground out for them. thus the lower compression and i went from 394 at the wheels, to 389 unfortionatly enough. not that it's a huge difference. had i taken the dirty air filter out, i'm sure it would have been the same.

                          i did pick up ass loads of bottom end power and torque with them though. so "it feels faster" cause it's not often im driving around at 6,850 rpm with max power and torque are at

                            actually Matt lost 5 or so on the top end but made impressive gains throughout the curve, made the car much faster too.
